Nationwide traffic management and associated highways services provider, Core Highways, has opened a new office in central London.

The move provides the company with a key location from which to serve its customers and meet the increasing demand for its traffic management and barrier services.

Located within London’s Clerkenwell area, it is a central location point for the geographically disparate business, who operate from 36 locations across the North, the Midlands, Wales, the Southeast and the Southwest.

The new London site provides a location for Core’s southeast regional team to meet with customers and act as a hub connecting the business’s teams across the country.

The company’s office in Torquay becomes a shared services centre, alongside its hubs in Swansea, Garboldisham and Newport.

Core Highways already has 36 operational depots nationally, truly reflecting its nationwide presence and localised capabilities.

Lizi Stewart, CEO of Core Highways, said:

“We are seeing increased demand for our services in the southeast. The office will create a great space for collaboration and connectivity, helping to bring together our people and connect with our customers.

“Having brought all our subsidiaries together under one brand earlier this year, we automatically became one of the largest temporary traffic management and barrier companies in the UK, with 36 depots across England and Wales and over 1,200 employees.

“It’s clear that this is the right time to formally expand our business further and open an office in London. We look forward to developing new business opportunities in the southeast and growing our operations.”
